Hello, I am a PhD candidate and part-time research associate at the Natural Language Processing (NLP) group, University of Sheffield, UK, working under the supervision of Carolina Scarton and Kalina Bontcheva. My research interest lies in automated fact-checking, primarily focussing on detecting and tracking the spread of multilingual debunked narratives on digital media platforms. Awards

Organising committee member of a Shared Task on Interactional Affect (The OffMyChest Shared Task) at the third Affective Content Analysis workshop @ AAAI 2020 together with Adobe and the University of Pennsylvania.
Human subject research volunteer on a social media analysis project being done in collaboration with NTU Singapore and University of Pennsylvania.
This scholarship was given for completing a research project, a part of research collaboration between Panjab University and King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia.
Was one among 100 students selected from all over the India for the prestigious MSP program by Microsoft for the academic year 2018-2019.
Got third prize from over 3000 teams in nation wide hackathon conducted by Nagarro co.
Got first prize in an International level hackathon conducted by IIT BHU.
This hackathon was a part of technical fest of Panjab University.
Represented my school at International CBSE Summit 2014.
